When I was a child, I loved writing notes and letters. I would often leave messages on the pillow of family members so they would have a surprise before bed. They always contain drawings and usually end with my name, a smiley picture of me, hair flying in the air, and a big heart with xxxxooo.
As I grew older, I loved collecting cards and buying stationery with my best friend, Michele. I even printed stationary with my name on top and watercolor background.
The thrill of letter writing and receiving has never left me. Painting is just an extension of letter writing for me. There is something so beautiful about writing a letter, taking the time to choose words that truly convey your thoughts.
My collections all have cards to continue the art of connection. I hope you are inspired to send a note of friendship and love this fall.
