The Hamsa has always been one of my favorite images. It is an ancient symbol of protection and is often equated with protection from the evil eye. For me, it is a reminder that the hand of God is always near, watching over, guiding, and protecting us.
I have block-printed and hand-colored my interpretation of this powerful symbol which was made special for sale at the Open Studios event this Saturday, November 19 at the Galleries at Lynn Arts.
